Tasty & Diverse

We’re proud to have our restaurant’s history being as long as 20 years!

Since the day we’ve opened our doors for the first time in 1998, we’ve served tens of thousands of people, sharing our love for a traditionally Chinese cuisine with the local citizens, as well as with all guests of our city…

Hidden gem in Vancouver

There are others that are better and better-known—but that’s what makes Koon Bo significant: its quiet, unassuming existence still attracts die-hard customers after 20 years, and it has outlived many other Chinese restaurants in Metro Vancouver.

Things We Cook the Best

Things We Cook the Best

A few well-loved dishes shredded chicken salad (it’s not rare to see each table order this classic item on any given night), roast squab, and roast duck, which requires advance ordering.

Chef's Special

Aim for these: stir-fry with beef and young ginger; honey garlic pork and deep-fried pepah tofu; beef with young ginger; Winter Melon Soup; and honey garlic beef with walnuts. For dessert, there are two finishers that haters of Chinese desserts might actually enjoy: ginger milk and the sago pudding.

Dinners

Koon Bo is best experienced in a larger group – say, six to eight diners – but if you are dining alone or with one other person you may want to partake in the comforts of the truly old school stuff like egg foo young, lemon chicken, and crispy chow mein. All blasts from a tasty past.

Happy Customers

One of the more delicious foods can be got here. Don't miss the jelly fish cold dish, and their Taro Duck.
Very busy restaurant, definitely needs reservations. Very limited parking, but pay parking along Fraser St is available.
